Zero-Carbon Future Technology Day & Hager China Truck Show (Xi'an Stop) Concludes Successfully

On August 15th, the "Zero-Carbon Future Technology Day", hosted by Hager China and co-organized by Sitech Electric, officially kicked off in Xi'an. Adopting a dual-venue model of "exhibition + forum", this event attracted nearly 200 industrial chain partners, including local governments, universities, design institutes, industry associations, research institutions, owner units, manufacturing enterprises, and switchgear manufacturers. Representatives from all parties gathered to analyze trends, build consensus, discuss the future, connect global energy forces, and write a new chapter in green development.

Against the global backdrop of addressing climate change, achieving the "dual carbon goals" (carbon peaking and carbon neutrality) has become a strategic priority for promoting the sustainable development of Chinas economy and society. As a key carrier, zero-carbon parks involve multiple fields such as energy, industry, construction, and transportation, and require coordinated advancement from multiple dimensions including conceptual innovation, technological breakthroughs, and system optimization. Over the past two years, the state has successively issued various policies specifying the construction of zero-carbon parks and zero-carbon factories, marking that this work has become a key breakthrough and important implementation path for advancing the "dual carbon" strategy.

New Direction: Policy Guidance Steering the Course of Industrial Transformation

At the opening of the event, Wang Aiguo, Secretary of the Party Committee of Shanghai Electric Science and Technology Group and Secretary-General of the Low-Voltage Electrical Apparatus Branch of China Electrical Equipment Industry Association, first reviewed the positive achievements of Chinas energy transition under the guidance of the "dual carbon" goals. He stated that the dual carbon policies have strongly promoted the transformation of the energy system and accelerated the development of the new-type power system. As the power grid shifts from traditional one-way transmission to two-way interaction of "source-grid-load-storage" (power source, power grid, load, and energy storage), the widespread integration of distributed energy and the deepening of user-side electrification continue to expand the application scenarios of power equipment, and the service model is also evolving from single product supply to comprehensive solutions. He called on all parties to cooperate hand in hand, emphasizing that green and low-carbon development cannot be achieved without collaborative innovation across the industrial chain, and joint efforts are needed to advance the construction of a zero-carbon future.

The global energy transition is accelerating, and re-electrification has become an irreversible global trend. In his speech, Zhang Jinquan, Co-founder of Beijing Hepuris Co., Ltd., conducted an in-depth analysis of the global power grid development trends and provided professional insights for industrial transformation. The construction of smart distribution grids featuring green low carbon, high resilience, and high automation will become the core driving force for promoting the energy transition.

Based on industrial big data analysis, Li Yufeng, General Manager of Beijing Gewuzhisheng Consulting Co., Ltd., interpreted the development trends of Chinas low-voltage electrical appliance market for the participants. He introduced that in the past three years, the demand for power distribution products in industries such as wind power, photovoltaics, and energy storage has maintained an average annual growth rate of over 20%. The development of the new energy sector continues to drive the growth of related demands such as microgrid systems, creating new growth space for the power transmission and distribution industry and its upstream and downstream industrial chains.

New Engine: Ecological Co-construction Exploring Green Development Paths Together

When elaborating on the groups sustainable development strategy, Ouyang Tong, Managing Director of Hager Group Greater China, stated that Hager Group is committed to the overall goal of keeping the global temperature rise within 1.5°C, and practices the "Blue Planet Commitment". While reducing its own carbon emissions, the group also enables customers to move towards sustainable development by designing eco-friendly products and providing efficient and energy-saving energy management system solutions, thus becoming a promoter of the energy transition.

In the thematic seminar on green technology application and industrial collaborative development, three industry experts shared innovative practices in their respective fields: Cui Yongxiang, General Manager of Helio New Energy Co., Ltd., analyzed the application prospects of building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV); Zheng Ting, Marketing Director of Longi Green Energys PV Construction Business, introduced cases of photovoltaics supporting enterpriseslow-carbon development; and Li Guoqiang, Director of the Switch Technology Department of TBEA Herong Switchgear Co., Ltd., discussed the green transformation path of switchgear equipment. Through the sharing of real cases and analysis of industrial pain points, the participants provided new ideas for collaborative innovation across the industrial chain.

New Momentum: Technology-driven Exploring the Innovative Future of the Industry

Professor Zhang Hao from Xian Jiaotong University and Vice Chairman of the Joint Research Institute of Sitech Electric comprehensively presented the product solutions for zero-carbon smart building scenarios to the participants. This solution adopts a dual-drive model of "safety base + green engine" and is jointly developed by three brands: Hager Electric, Sitech Electric, and Helio. In terms of technological research, Sitech Electric has joined hands with Xian Jiaotong University to focus on cutting-edge exploration of distributed energy technology and fully demonstrate the latest progress in smart building energy networks. With topological reconstruction as the core, this technology has achieved three major innovative breakthroughs: multi-source flexible access, dynamic energy routing, and market interactive response, successfully building an "intelligent nerve center" for building energy management, which has attracted much attention from the industry.

During the event, a number of industry experts delivered wonderful technical sharing sessions. Huang Binghong, Marketing Director of Hager China, focused on introducing the companys innovative practices in low-carbon product design and zero-carbon park construction, and specifically demonstrated core technological achievements such as the E3/DC energy storage system, V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid) two-way charging technology, and the Agardio energy management system. Du Jialin, an IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) expert in China, conducted an in-depth analysis of "New Technologies in IEC International Standards" from the perspective of international standards. Liu Yuan, General Manager of Shanghai Tianwei Certification Co., Ltd., systematically expounded on policy standards, implementation paths, and corporate carbon strategy service solutions around the construction of zero-carbon parks, providing valuable practical references for the participants.

New Opportunities: Innovative Exhibition Area Experiencing Technological Breakthroughs Immersively

This event innovatively set up a mobile exhibition area, with core products as the display carriers. Through an immersive experience, it opened up a dialogue channel between supply and demand, realizing the intuitive presentation of technological achievements. At the same time, the event effectively integrated resources from governments, enterprises, universities, and research institutions to build an innovative ecosystem for industrial collaborative development, and actively explored replicable paths for urban zero-carbon development, providing practical solutions for a sustainable future.

This Zero-Carbon Future Technology Day is a milestone for building consensus and clarifying directions, and we have jointly witnessed a new starting point for green development. Xian, this millennium-old ancient capital, is embracing the zero-carbon future with an innovative posture. Zero-carbon development is a global issue. Sitech Electric looks forward to communicating with all sectors in an open and shared manner, collaborating in co-construction, and complementing each other for mutual benefit and win-win results. We will join hands to create a new pattern of green energy cooperation, contribute to the global green energy construction, and explore a feasible path for a sustainable zero-carbon future.
