Sitech Partners with German Hager to Power Expansion of Huangling Diantou Power Plant

Recently, Sitech, in collaboration with German Hager Electric, supplied a low-voltage power distribution solution for the Phase II expansion project of the Shaanxi Coal Huangling Diantou Power Plant, which includes two 1000MW units. This partnership supports the construction of a modern thermal power facility. As Hager Electric’s authorized distributor in Northwest China, Sitech leveraged its local resource integration and scenario-based application capabilities to facilitate the successful implementation of advanced international technology in a large-scale thermal power setting.

01 Strategic Synergy – Breaking New Ground in Localizing International Brands

The Phase II expansion of the Shaanxi Coal Huangling Diantou Power Plant is a key coal-power project under Shaanxi’s 14th Five-Year Plan. It plays a vital role in implementing the national energy strategy of “establishing before upgrading” and represents a critical step for Shaanxi Coal Group in building a clean, efficient power system. Facing this high-standard benchmark project, Sitech and Hager Electric jointly deployed an intelligent low-voltage power distribution solution on a large scale for the first time in a major thermal power plant in Northwest China.

The project utilizes Hager’s intelligent low-voltage power distribution solution, known for its reliability, efficiency, and low environmental impact. Sitech contributed its deep understanding of the energy market and strong local resource coordination, working alongside Hager from initial requirement alignment through to system integration. This collaboration not only fills a gap in Hager’s application portfolio for large thermal power projects in Northwest China but also sets a replicable example for international brands operating in complex regional conditions.

Sitech was deeply involved throughout the project, from on-site surveys to solution design.
