Benchmark Case: Guangxi 7MWp PV-Storage Integrated Project Successfully Achieves Grid-Connected Power Generation

Recently, the 7MWp (megawatt-peak) photovoltaic-storage integrated project in Guangxi has successfully achieved the goal of full-capacity grid-connected power generation. As a key practice of Sitech Electric in the field of integrated applications of "photovoltaic-storage + smart manufacturing", this project has successfully addressed the dual demands of smart manufacturing for stable power supply and clean, low-carbon operations. Through photovoltaic-storage synergy technology, it has created an efficient model for the green and low-carbon transformation of traditional manufacturing industries and injected strong green momentum into this process.
1. Energy Conservation and Consumption Reduction: Empowering Green Production
Located in Guangxi, the project includes the construction of 5 rooftop photovoltaic (PV) power stations and 1 energy storage power station. By leveraging the synergy between PV power generation and energy storage systems, it has realized a "production-storage-consumption" closed loop for green energy. Specifically, the PV project makes full use of the rooftop spaces of factory buildings and office buildings within the park to deploy PV power generation systems efficiently, converting solar energy into clean electricity and ensuring the continuous supply of green energy.
With a total installed capacity of 7MWp, the PV project can meet over 50% of the park’s electricity demand, effectively improving energy self-sufficiency rate and energy supply resilience. According to calculations, the PV system is expected to generate a total of 160 million kWh of electricity over the next 25 years, with an annual power generation of approximately 6.4576 million kWh or more. Each year, it will help reduce carbon emissions by about 2,237 tons (equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 6,568 tons), making a positive contribution to the green development of both the park and the city.
2. Strict Adherence to Standards: Ensuring Grid-Connection Quality

During the PV grid-connection construction, the team adhered to the work principle of "high standards and strict requirements" throughout the entire process—from planning and design to on-site management, and from equipment delivery to system commissioning. By fully implementing a standardized operation system, the team ensured that every link from design to grid connection was closely linked and standardized at each step. Strict control was exercised over process details, operational standards were unified, and process supervision and risk pre-control were strengthened, achieving process-oriented operations, standardized on-site management, and refined management. Relying on strict control over standards and quality, the project has laid a solid foundation for the long-term stable operation and benefit improvement of the park’s power stations.
3. Solid Protection: Responding to Extreme Challenges

In response to the local environmental characteristic of frequent winds in Guangxi, the project innovatively built a "dual wind-resistant reinforcement system", which can effectively withstand strong winds of level 13 or below. A customized extended pressure block design was adopted: by lengthening the component pressure blocks, the overall fixing strength and wind resistance of the PV array were significantly improved. Meanwhile, based on the different heights of the support columns, differentiated counterweights were accurately configured to optimize the weight distribution of the overall structure—acting like "wind-fixing anchors" tailored for the system, which greatly enhanced its anti-overturning capability.
Under the guidance of the "dual carbon" goals (carbon peaking and carbon neutrality), Sitech Electric will continue to expand new energy application scenarios, achieve precise matching between green electricity production and energy demand through technological iteration, and deepen its efforts in the integrated direction of "source-grid-load-storage" (power source, power grid, load, and energy storage).
