Amid the global energy transition and the deepening implementation of China’s “Dual Carbon” goals, Sitech Electric stands at the forefront, actively advancing green energy initiatives. Recently, the Guangxi Microgrid Project, one of our flagship endeavors, has achieved significant milestones, delivering safe, stable, and reliable zero-carbon green power to the region. This project exemplifies Sitech Electric’s professional expertise and leadership in microgrid construction.

1. Project Background
Advancing "Dual Carbon" Goals, Empowering Green Transformation
Faced with complex energy demands and the limitations of traditional power supply models in balancing economy and sustainability, Sitech Electric leveraged its technical strengths and expert team to design a tailored microgrid solution. Covering diverse scenarios such as emergency power restoration and substation training, the project integrates multi-energy complementarity and smart management to achieve self-sufficient green energy, reduce carbon emissions, and provide a practical blueprint for regional energy transition.
2. Project Implementation
Multi-Dimensional Approach to Building a Smart Microgrid
1. Microgrid Intelligent Control System
As the "brain" of the system, Sitech Electric developed an intelligent control platform enabling real-time monitoring and dynamic management of photovoltaic (PV) generation, energy storage, EV charging stations, wind turbines, and facility loads. Utilizing big data analytics and AI algorithms, the platform optimizes energy coordination, enhances utilization efficiency, and reduces operational costs.

2. Rooftop Photovoltaic System
A 200kWp rooftop PV station was installed using fixed-tilt brackets for structural stability and self-cleaning design for low maintenance. Operating under a "self-generation for self-use with surplus electricity fed into the grid" model, it meets campus energy needs while providing rooftop shading and cooling benefits.
3. Wind Power Integration
Two 5kW vertical-axis wind turbines were strategically placed in green spaces, complementing solar power and forming a hybrid distributed energy system. With an expected annual output of 24MWh, the turbines enhance grid reliability and energy diversity.

4. Solar Carport Integration
Eight parking spaces were upgraded into solar carports, equipped with 63 PV panels (36.225kWp total capacity) and a 30kW inverter. This design maximizes land usage, shelters vehicles, and generates clean energy efficiently.
5. Energy Storage System
A 20kW/40kWh all-in-one energy storage system was deployed, featuring lithium iron phosphate batteries, smart BMS, and bi-directional inverters. With temperature control, emergency power supply, and intelligent fire safety mechanisms, the system enables peak shaving, ensures power quality, and provides 24/7 energy security.
3. Project Impact
Dual Benefits in Efficiency and Sustainability
Economic Benefits:
The project’s "self-generation with surplus grid feed-in" model significantly reduces energy costs while generating revenue. The energy storage system mitigates peak-valley tariff pressures, yielding substantial annual savings and additional income from surplus sales.
Environmental Benefits:
By boosting renewable energy adoption, the project cuts CO2 emissions by hundreds of tons annually, advancing local ecological goals and serving as a model for China’s "Dual Carbon" strategy.
